Plan Bee’s 5th annual SunSet Music Series
Food Truck: VanRoy’s Caribbean Grill

Featuring Nicky Barbato

Come out to the farm and celebrate local NY artists in our elevated performance series.

Timing: The taproom will open at 12pm to start serving guests. The performers play a 90 minute set which starts 90 minutes before sunset. The artists starting time will fluctuate with the seasonal sunset. Last call for drinks is at 9pm.

Outdoor Stage: The concert takes place outside on our east facing Farmstand Stage. The mural on the stage was designed by artist Natalie Renganeshi to change visually with the setting sun. As you enjoy the musical performance, this visual art brings a whole new meaning to light show.

Seating: We have lawn chairs, picnic blankets & benches available for use but feel free to bring your own chair or blanket if you wish.

Tickets: Ticket sales support our artists & additional donations are welcome. Rain or shine event - if there is adverse weather, the music will move inside or under our new pavilion. No refunds or rainchecks.

About the Artist

Nicky Barbato is a guitarist, bandleader, composer, and educator based in New York, NY. His latest album, the Nicky Barbato Project's Every Day is a Bad Hair Day (produced by Jon Irabagon) was recognized by The New York City Jazz Record as a "Best Debut of 2019" alongside releases from Larry Grenadier and Nick Dunston. The album was called “eclectic...hard driving NYC style guitar noir” and a “modern day essential for adventurous guitar fans” by Roots Music Report. The Vinyl Anachronist wrote "Nicky's vision cuts through surf rock, jazz, '70s prog rock, funk and rockabilly--and that's just in the first song and a half." Sea of Tranquity described Barbato's guitar playing as "really quite amazing."
