We will be at Beer Street in Brooklyn, NY for Craft Beer week starting at 12noon pouring some of our favorite styles! Here are a few things on the menu:
Autumn: our heritage corn (Bloodly Butcher, Dent Yellow, Ohio Blue), our farm grown organic pumpkins and our coriander aged in freshly dumped Hillrock bourbon barrels. Amber in color, easy drinking, mildly tart.
Barn Beer: 100% NYS ingredients: 6-row organic barley from Stone House Farms and malted at Germantown Beer Farm (Germantown, NY), hopped with Perle, Cascade & Nugget from Gro-Moore Farms in Henrietta, NY and fermented with a wild yeast culture from our raw honey and honey comb from our bees on the farm in Poughkeepsie, NY. Coolship cooled and fermented in open HV white oak. Juicy & satisfying, dances btw fruity&funky yeast, lemon/pine hop notes. Subtly tart, soft, & lemony.
Pitz: Juicy, Tangy, & Tart- NY Wild Ale coolship cooled, & aged in oak with whole peaches and their pits. Flavors of strong peach candy & Meyer lemons. Slight Funk and Pretty Sour.
Tulsi Blue: Our extra fruited series comes in our 375mL bottles with pastel colored labels ornate with a golden bee. Wild ale aged in oak on blueberries and holy basil, fruity, tart and sweet basil notes
Zone 6: barrel aged wild ale with whole quince fruit and black currants, tropical fruit notes, tart with bright citrus finish
Comb: Our annual barrel blend from our cellar w/ a blend of barrels that were all brewed in 2017 - including wine barrels, neutral oak barrel & whiskey barrels. Layers of complexity, this one ages in the bottle well as the beers marry together.
Savage: 2 years of Wild Berry Harvest exclusively from our farm (wild blackberry, wild raspberries & wine berries). 18 months aged in a single Puncheon. A demonstration of subtlety and complexity . This one is special folks.
Reincarnation: a blend of juice&whole sour cherries from Bittner-Singer Orchards, aged in red wine barrels, over 1000# of cherry, by far the most fruited beer we have ever done!
Bouquet: barrel aged wild ales on edible flowers grown or foraged from the farm, delicious, light and floral. We will be bringing down one with our wild violets and another with anise hyssop.
